Nonmandatory payout annuities for Australian elders?

The Wharton School’s Dr. Olivia S. Mitchell spoke at an Australian Superannuation symposium at UNSW/CEPAR. As she explained, “annuities are complex products (and) most people will probably only buy once, so they can hardly be expected to be experts in the field.
