Abstract —Leading academics, public pension sponsors, and their advisors met recently to examine ways to reformulate and restructure retirement risk management at the 2009 Wharton Impact Conference sponsored by the Pension Research Council and the Boettner Center for Pensions and Retirement Research. Here we summarize the proceedings from this event, co-organized by Olivia S. Mitchell and Robert Clark.
